Koresh Artists Showcase

The Koresh Artist Showcase is an initiative that was created to give emerging talent in the community a platform to present their work. Each showcase presents work by a diverse group of local performers and there is no cost for participants. This gives artists in the community more opportunities for performance and the chance to connect with a wider audience in an intimate setting. Showcases at Koresh offer the Philadelphia community a chance to discover new artists as well as new styles of dance. Some of our past participants have included Sammy Reyes, Alchemy Dance Company, Crystal Frazier, Project Moshen, Opus 1 Dance, Shannon Murphy, Ballet Fleming, Teresa VanDenend Sorge, Xhale Dance Company, Lin Batsheva Kahn and many more! The Koresh Artist Showcase is held at our company's home, where one of the the studios is turned into a black box theater. Showcases are held on Saturday and Sunday evenings several times throughout the year and each performance lasts approximately 45-50 minutes. Tickets are just $12 per person and are available for purchase at the door one hour prior to showtime.

Dance Across The USA Book Release (Florida)

Kyle is beyond excited to have been able to represent his home state of New Hampshire in Jonathan Given's latest project "Dance Across The USA"

The idea behind this project is to showcase the variety and beauty of both our country, and the dancers that live within it.  We want to be able to promote dance as both a wonderful career and lifestyle, as well as a great benefit to the development of children.  To do this, we drove to all 48 contiguous states, (and flew to Alaska and Hawaii to photograph dancers at a national park, national monument, or other nationally significant location.  Some of these images are cataloged on this website, and have been combined into a book. A portion of the proceeds from this book will be donated to benefit America's parks and the National Endowment for the Arts.
